Week 18 - Destin

Don and I spent the weekend in Destin - it was great to get away and we loved the white sand beaches and clear water. The water was really wavy and we did some boogie-boarding, not sure it was the best idea for me but I figured I'd have fun while I am still mobile!

Week 17 - I've popped!

Well, all of a sudden I seem to have grown a belly. It seems like it happened overnight, but the books say this is a time of rapid growth for the baby so I guess it makes sense.

Week 15 - The Bump is Beginning!

I have been slowly growing in my middle. I felt like I looked like I'd had too many cheeseburger, not pregnant. I'm in that wierd stage where I'm too small for maternity clothes, but too big for my regular clothes!

Week 12 - Ultrasound Pictures

Well, we went in for our 12 week ultrasound where they do some evaluation of the risk of down syndrome and other genetic disorders. The baby was kicking and moving constantly, playing with his hands and everything. To our utter shock, the sonographer was able to determine with 90% certainty that it was a boy! We were elated that everything looked great and even more so to be having a little Don on the way.

Week 4 - Don finds out

Here are pictures of my scavenger hunt for Don. The end was a hamburger "bun in the oven" along with the positive pregnancy test. Needless to say, he was excited and terrified at the same time!
