Palm Coast, FL

Our friend Susanne got married last weekend and we made the trek down to Palm Coast, FL. It was great to see her and meet her husband, who is from Brazil. We spent a day at the beach although it was pretty windy from Tropical Storm Hannah. Declan ended up in our bed both nights and nearly pushed Don off the edge Sun morning!

Cora Comes to Visit!

Molly and Cora came to visit Atlanta and we had a fun get together with the babies. Declan loved watching Cora walk and drink from her sippy cup.

Baby Anne

10 months old

Declan is attempting to walk and has been able to take a grand total of two steps on his own. He doesn't have much stability but is sure trying hard! He also loves to dance to music and jump on the mattress in his crib. We went to an art/music/food festival this weekend and he enjoyed some catfish tacos and live music.

Last Day of Daycare and Rocking Horse

We're moving Declan to a daycare center at our churce a few blocks away. We think he'll love the new place, but it was very hard to say goodbye to his teachers Ms Ramona and Ms Margaret. They have taken such great care of him.

The rocking horse was sent by Grandma Johnson and belonged to Don as a little boy. I'm sure Dex will have a ball with it.

Throwing Books and New Kitty

Our new favorite activity is pulling objects off of shelves and throwing them on the floor. The bigger the mess, the better!

As some of you may know, our kitty Jasmine passed away from kidney failure on July 3rd. It was quite a shock since she was only about 9 years old. The house felt a little empty so we decided to get a new friend. Meet Chloe, a 4-year-old kitty we adopted from a local shelter. She is very sweet and is fitting in quite nicely.
