Last Day of Daycare and Rocking Horse

We're moving Declan to a daycare center at our churce a few blocks away. We think he'll love the new place, but it was very hard to say goodbye to his teachers Ms Ramona and Ms Margaret. They have taken such great care of him.

The rocking horse was sent by Grandma Johnson and belonged to Don as a little boy. I'm sure Dex will have a ball with it.

Throwing Books and New Kitty

Our new favorite activity is pulling objects off of shelves and throwing them on the floor. The bigger the mess, the better!

As some of you may know, our kitty Jasmine passed away from kidney failure on July 3rd. It was quite a shock since she was only about 9 years old. The house felt a little empty so we decided to get a new friend. Meet Chloe, a 4-year-old kitty we adopted from a local shelter. She is very sweet and is fitting in quite nicely.

We had a great weekend with Don's parents and Declan got his first pair of shoes!

8 Months Old

Declan is on the move! He is now pulling up in his crib, crawling all over the house and up the stairs and loves getting into trouble. :)
